Parents of the couple are Kathleen Anderson Carter of New Brighton, Perry and Judy Stow of North Mankato, and the late John Anderson. She is a 1994 graduate of Irondale High School in Mounds View, a 1998 graduate of Augsburg College, and a 2003 graduate of St. Mary’s University. She is a kindergarten teacher at Valley View Elementary in Columbia Heights. He is a 1993 graduate of Mankato West High School and a 1998 graduate of the University of Minnesota-Duluth. He is a financial analyst at BAE Systems in Fridley. A reception was held at Nicollet Island Pavilion in Minneapolis. Following a trip to Ireland and Sweden, the couple is home in Blaine.
