Veterans Day offers many ways to remember, honor Events include speakers, food and music — New Richland — 10 a.m. program at New Richland-Hartland-Ellendale-Geneva High School.
— Nicollet — 4 p.m. ceremony at Nicollet American Legion Post. Social hour followed by 5:30 p.m. meal. Program speakers include Sue Sorenson, director of the Southern Minnesota Veterans Assistance Council, an organization that assists veterans who are homeless. — Waseca — 9 a.m. program at Waseca High School; 10 a.m. program at Waseca Junior High School; 11 a.m. program at Waseca County Courthouse, lunch afterward; 12:45 p.m. program at Central Intermediate School; 2 p.m. program at TEAM Academy. — Wells — 9:30 a.m. program at United South Central High School in Wells; speaker Col. Paul Groskreutz.
