Man arrested for theft by swindle The Free Press MANKATO — A 21-year-old New Brighton man faces felony charges in connection with the swindle of a Mankato female vulnerable adult.
Ryan Larsen was jailed Monday after the caseworker for the woman, also 21, reported the incident to police. Authorities were called to First National Bank in Mankato after a male with the woman apparently had convinced her to give him the $8,000 she had received for the sale of her mobile home. Larsen faces a charge of theft by swindle of a vulnerable adult.
