BRICELYN

No charges are expected in a shooting that critically wounded a 15-year-old boy in southern Minnesota.

The boy was shot Tuesday near Bricelyn. He remains in critical but stable condition at St. Marys Hospital in Rochester.

Authorities say a 19-year-old was holding a gun when it went off, hitting the 15-year-old in the head.

The sheriff says the shooting was accidental, and the gun was not locked up.
