Pedal to Metal hitting Kato

— The inaugural “Pedal to the Metal Tour” is coming to the Alltel Center Wednesday, Aug. 12, the Alltel announced Monday.
The tour features Mudvayne and Black Label Society. Static-X, Suicide Silence, Dope, Bury Your Dead and Hellzapoppin are also included in the tour.
The show starts at 6 p.m.
Mudvayne was nominated for Best Male Performance at the 2005 Grammy Awards and shared headlining status during the 2005 Ozzfest.
Tickets are $35 and go on sale 10 a.m. Saturday. Tickets are available at the Alltel Center ticket office and all Ticketmaster locations. Charge by phone at 800-745-3000, or online at www.ticketmaster.com.
