Published June 08, 2009 05:00 pm - Mudvayne, Black Label Society among featured artists. Pedal to Metal hitting Kato Heavy metal tour will steal into town Aug. 12 The Free Press The inaugural “Pedal to the Metal Tour” is coming to the Alltel Center Wednesday, Aug. 12, the Alltel announced Monday.
The tour features Mudvayne and Black Label Society. Static-X, Suicide Silence, Dope, Bury Your Dead and Hellzapoppin are also included in the tour. The show starts at 6 p.m. Mudvayne was nominated for Best Male Performance at the 2005 Grammy Awards and shared headlining status during the 2005 Ozzfest. Tickets are $35 and go on sale 10 a.m. Saturday. Tickets are available at the Alltel Center ticket office and all Ticketmaster locations.
