The family had been house-hunting in St. Peter on March 29, 1998.
Steve and Diana Schneider, both employees of Alumacraft in St. Peter, were looking to move from Mankato to be closer to their jobs.
It was late afternoon and they were headed for some bowling and pizza. Their 6-year-old son, Dustin, was in the van with them.
They had just turned off Highway 169 on the south end of St. Peter when the hell hit.
