UPDATE: St. Peter man airlifted after crash The Free Press A St. Peter man was airlifted to Immanuel St. Joseph’s Hospital in Mankato after a one-vehicle crash on Highway 99 east of Nicollet Wednesday.
Cyle D. Gruver, 50, was traveling west on the highway when his 2005 Cheverolet Impala went into the north ditch, hit a field approach and launched into the air, a Minnesota State Patrol report said. The car turned before landing on its roof in about two feet of water. Gruver was pulled from the vehicle by rescuers and taken to a waiting Mayo 1 helicopter for transport. He was listed in critical condition.
