Preliminary results from a medical examiner’s investigation indicate a 31-year-old Mankato woman died as a result of natural causes.
Police were waiting for the medical examiners report to help determine what killed Christine Sutter. She was found dead at her mobile home at 209 Lime Valley Road after police received a 911 call at about 4:40 p.m. Tuesday.
Nothing was found at the scene that would reveal the cause of death for Sutter, so an autopsy was requested. The autopsy showed the cause of death was natural and no foul play is suspected.
The investigation will be pending until toxicology tests are completed by the medical examiner, a Mankato Police Department report said.
