Your View: CAP students complaining about gift given to them

By Brett Carpenter, St. Peter

I am going to go so far as to suggest that the CAP program expunge all of its beneficiaries immediately, and reinterview those affected once again.

Any student that shows even one shred of ungratefulness ought to be where they left themselves after blowing off high school.

They’ve been given such a gift, and yet some are complaining about borrowing $50 from a friend and claiming racial discrimination. I just borrowed $17,000 in student loans, with a grand total well into six figures. I’m married, work two jobs and am constantly hitting the books for my grades.

Seems that perhaps the CAP program is discriminating after all — against responsibility.
