As a delegate to the Republican National Convention, and as a member of the 100-member Rules Committee, I have had the opportunity to meet people from all across the nation.

When I tell people about our candidate for Congress, Brian Davis, they are envious of the incredible candidate we have. When I list his credentials of nuclear power engineer and a medical doctor, they know that Davis would be a fantastic benefit in the U.S. House.

His first-hand experience with two of the biggest problems facing America — energy and health care — and his conservative principles, will be a real asset for the 1st District.

I urge everyone to get out and vote in the primary Sept. 9.
