Shameless Legislature tried to slap on seatbelt law

With little fanfare, few people are aware of Minnesota politicians’ attempt to shove a primary seatbelt law through the Legislature.

Normally, such a law would generate numerous editorial letters, pro and con. Not so this year.

The economy is struggling, people are paying nearly $4 a gallon for gas, food prices are rising and our Legislature is trying to slap on a seatbelt law.

Have these people no shame?
