Stafford Harder stated in his Your View letter, published May 8, “Evolution dishonors Christ who is God and who is our creator, according to John, Chapter I.”
Though I could not find anything in John, Chapter I, to support his statement, I did find this: “No man has seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him.” John I:18, King James Version.
This clearly states that Jesus, who was seen by many, is not God.
To further support John I:18, “For there is but one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Jesus Christ.” I Timothy, Chapter 2, verse 5.
Again, this is very clear that there is a definite difference between God and “the man Jesus Christ.”
The mediator and God are not the same, therefore, Jesus is not God.
