I appreciate the arguments presented by Jon Kaus in the evolution/intelligent design debate. I saw Ben Stein’s film and thought it was excellent.
It makes clear that many scientists believe their view of intelligent design is valid because the probability that the immense complexity of all that exists happened by natural selection is foolishness.
The spiritual implications of this debate cannot be ignored. If you agree with “intelligent design” you have to agree there is a designer. A place where many scientists will never go, regardless of how much evidence there is of a designer. The sinful heart always rejects the things of God.
Evolution dishonors Christ who is God and who is our creator, according to John, Chapter I.
To think you can convince the world that Jesus is Lord, Savior and Designer is also foolishness.
