Your View: Elysian lucky to have the Evans on its side

— Mack Evans, the mayor of Elysian, and his wife, Jan, are very good friends of ours. They are two of the most honest and giving people we know.
They truly care about the well-being of the city of Elysian and its residents. They give freely of their time and energy to support the people and the community.
The medals Mack Evans gives out are to thank and recognize those who give a little extra to make the city of Elysian a better place.
The city of Elysian and its residents are lucky to have them.
