The continued increase in elementary enrollment in the district has shown our communities are experiencing growth requiring the need for a new elementary school, the replacement of temporary classrooms in Eagle Lake, and the need to purchase land in North Mankato so that a new facility can be built.
Additionally, funds are necessary to renovate West High School and to add an elevator to East High School so that the facility is in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act.
Supporting public education and providing adequate funding for our schools is central in providing all students with a quality education as we are investing in the future of our community, and our nation.
It is important for community members to have a voice in this important issue.
