Your View — Give more coverage to Maple River basketball

— I live in and send our children to the Maple River School district. I have subscribed off and on to your newspaper over the years and am completely baffled by your lack of coverage for the Maple River teams.
You want people to subscribe to your newspaper in the outlying areas of Mankato, but you give no ink for these towns.
Case in point: For your information, Maple River Boys Basketball is headed to its third straight state basketball appearance. They have a record of 27-1 and are rated third in the State in Class AA. Where is the coverage for this fine team?
If Maple River was called Mankato River, your paper would be gushing all over this team. Instead of having articles about this team, I am already reading how a Mankato team is going to be in baseball.
