Lucile Seltenreich Flowers, 84, of rural Eagle Lake, died Saturday, November 7, 2009, at Immanuel St. Joseph’s Hospital in Mankato.
Funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, November 11, 2009, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Mankato with Rev. Paul Nolting officiating. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery in Mankato. Visitation will be from 4 – 7 p.m., Tuesday at Mankato Mortuary and one hour before the service at the church in Wednesday.
Lucile was born July 10, 1925, in Mankato to Jay and Martha (Hoffman) Seltenreich. She graduated from Mankato High School. Lucile was united in marriage to Francis Flowers on April 18, 1948, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Mankato. She worked at Woolworths as a sales clerk and also helped on the family farm. Lucile was a lifetime member of Immanuel Lutheran Church. She enjoyed reading, baking, and fishing.
Lucile is survived by her son, Martin Flowers of rural Eagle Lake; several sisters-in-laws and brothers-in-law, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and husband, Francis on January 6, 1993.
