Shirley Marie Fredricks, born October 23, 1946, in Appleton, MN to Chet and Jean Dezotell, died May 16, 2009. She married Gerald Fredricks on October 9, 1965 and they had one child, Lori Lynn, and one grandchild, Kayla Marie Sotebeer. Shirley adored children and had a heart of gold for those she loved, never forgetting birthdays anniversaries, and shared memories. She hoped to see Kayla’s concerts and her nephew, Josh Vieu’s car races. She now has the best view of all. Shirley is blessedly in heaven joining her sister Debbie, grandma Dezotell, and Henneberg grandparents but she will be greatly missed by her husband, daughter, granddaughter, parents, sisters, nieces, nephews and the rest of her family and friends.

A celebration will be given for Shirley at her and Jerry’s home, 23964 570th ave., Mankato, MN, June 7, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. with the memorial at 2:30 p.m.
