Published April 02, 2009 06:06 pm - Ruth M. Beseke, age 76 of Henderson, died Tuesday, March 31, 2009, at her home. Memorial Mass will be Saturday, April 4 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Henderson at 10:00 a.m.

Ruth M. Beseke, age 76 of Henderson, died Tuesday, March 31, 2009, at her home. Memorial Mass will be Saturday, April 4 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Henderson at 10:00 a.m. Fr. Keith Salisbury will be officiating. Visitation will be Friday at Kolden Funeral Home in Henderson from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. with a prayer service at 8:00 p.m., and also one hour prior to the service at church on Saturday. Burial will be held at a later date.

Ruth was born on November 17, 1932, to William and Evelyn (Doyle) Hoffman in Henderson, Minnesota. She graduated from Henderson High School. She married Lloyd Beseke on May 10, 1952, in St. Paul, Minnesota. They raised their family in St. Paul and after retiring moved back to Henderson 16 years ago. She enjoyed gardening, photography, quilting, playing BINGO and attending “Old Hens Club” luncheons.

She is survived by her husband, Lloyd Beseke; children, Bruce Beseke of St. Paul, John (Marie) Beseke of Henderson, Deb (Tom) Cubus of Stacy, MN, Barbara (Rick) Montour of Little Canada, MN, Lloyd (Frannie) Beseke of Spring Valley, WI, Margaret (Mike Fitzgerald) Jensen of St. Paul, Theresa (Gene) Wentzlaff of Henderson, Donna Beseke of Henderson, and Donald (Kristine) Beseke of Henderson; 20 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren; siblings, Mary Alice Boelter of Henderson, Rita (Earl) Griep of Henderson, Theresa Becker of Burnsville, MN, and Frank (Betty) Hoffman of Bloomington, MN; sisters and brothers-in-law, Sandy (Billy Jo) Byrne of Henderson, Josie Patterson of Henderson, Lois Beseke of Henderson and Tom Beseke of Henderson

She is preceded in death by her two sons, Roger and Edward Beseke; brother, Ed Hoffman; and sisters and brothers-in-law, Ed and Donna Morrisette, Phil Beseke, Bill Beseke, Ray Patterson, Everett Boelter, Clem Becker & Darlene Hoffman.
