Still more to do after Katrina Good Counsel crew to help out in New Orleans By Nick HansonThe Free Press The sisters who remain at the convent will be without the assistance of Good Counsel employees during the two-week stint, so they’ll have to pitch and cover some of their regular duties, such as cleaning.
Bertrand said it’s a worthwhile price, especially if everyone has an enlightening experience. “It’s not just about work,” she said. “It’s about experiencing the richness of the city.”
