Free Press Birth Announcement policy

To have your baby’s birth announcement appear on The Free Press records page, please complete and submit this form. There is no fee for basic birth announcements, however, an enhanced announcement that includes the baby’s name, photo, weight and other additional information is available for a small fee by calling 344-6395. If preferred, printed forms for birth announcements are available by stopping in The Free Press office or writing Newsroom, 418 South Second Street, P.O. Box 3287, Mankato, MN 56001. For more information, call 344-6395. By submitting this form, the parent agrees that he/she will make no legal claim against The Free Press (or its owners, officers, agents, employees and successors) in connection with or as a result of the publication of the birth announcement and expressly waives any such claim or cause of action.
